Main tasks and responsibilities in the project:
ACCUREC is a work-package leader for the pre-treatment of the LIBs used in this project with specific focus on the thermal treatments. Additionally, ACCUREC is supplying the consortium with EoL batteries, concentrates and providing assessment from an industrial perspective.

Main tasks and responsibilities in the project:
Sorting of Batteries by their kind and material composition using a novel art of XRT sensor technology and sorting mix battery material post shredding using XRF based sensor-technology.

INDUMETAL RECYCLING SA [IND]
Indumetal Recycling, founded in 1984, is a leading Spanish company specialising in recycling waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) promoting a circular economy. Using mechanical technologies, we recover metal concentrates (Aluminium, Iron and Cooper), a complex mix of plastics, a fraction of PCB, and glass. The company employs 80 people and processes around 33kt of WEEE per year. Certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and WEEELABEX, we ensure high environmental and quality standards.

ECO RECYCLING SRL [ECO]
Eco Recycling s.r.l. is an engineering company corporate in 2008 and it is expert in the development and implementation of innovative processes and plants for recovery of metals from secondary raw materials from WEEE, wastes, residues and complex minerals.
Eco Recycling has an industrial experimental platform in Civita Castellana (Italy) on which are located all its prototypes and demonstration units to perform hydrometallurgical treatments.
The company owns several patents mainly relating to the treatment of batteries and photovoltaic panels that have reached the end of their life. The core team is made up of engineers, industrial chemists and technicians with solid experience in the R&D sector, in the design and construction of plants.
Main tasks and responsibilities in the project:
Within the RESTORE project, Eco Recycling is responsible for the realisation of the engineering activities aimed at building the prototype for the continuous aqueous electrohydraulic fragmentation treatment.

Main tasks and responsibilities in the project:
Leading the WP 5 and conducting research in the beneficiation of black mass separating and sensing of anodic and cathodic fractions involving froth flotation, gravity separation, automated mineralogy, HIS imaging and machine learning.
